The Army of Karanos (eastern successor)

So here is the army of Karanos in a Hail Caesar format. the Army is divided into four divisions. Karanos has few Macedonians or Greek soldiers available to him but has embraced Alexander the Greats vision for a mixed Greek-Persian culture marrying a local Persian nobles daughter and employing locals in his phalanx and as light troops. He has also gathered various allies and Mercenaries from the eastern side of the Caspian sea to reinforce his army.

Division 1 Cavalry

C-in-C ( Karanos) LD8 +2 combat

Companion cavalry –  Standard sized heavy cavalry – Elite

Indian cavalry – Standard sized medium cavalry

Division 2 Phalanx

General LD7 +1 combat

Pantodapoi – Standard sized heavy infantry pike phalanx – Freshly raised

Pantodapoi -Standard sized heavy infantry pike phalanx – Freshly raised

Persian Slingers – Standard sized skirmishers long range weapons (slings)

Persian Archers – standard sized skirmishers long range weapons (bow)

Division 3 Indian Allies

General LD6 +3 combat

Indian Infantry – Standard sized medium infantry double handed weapons (swords)

Indian infantry – Standard sized medium infantry archers

X4 Indian Elephants – Elephant

Division 4 Parthians

General LD7 +1 combat

Parthians – Standard sized horse archers – Parthian shot

Parthians – Standard sized horse archers – Parthian shot

So that’s the first army in the next post the western army.
